"Parking sucks" is no longer a valid critique of any Seattle-area business, as there's no parking anywhere anyway, and even if they wanted to put in a parking lot they probably don't have the $$$$ to buy the land to do so.

@green hahaha, it's so true. I've just accepted that if I drive I get to eat it as far as parkin goes.

If my BF's work wasn't so far south of where we live, I'd probably only keep the car around for long trips. Alas. :(

@hummingrain yah, that's legit. Spouse & I got super lucky with this place; moving away from housemates who have a vehicle and into an apartment within easy walking distance of a major transit hub = *still* don't need to get a car. I figure we'll probably have to get one sometime in the next decade, though, as one or the other of us starts losing mobility. yay ageing. :P
