The #TSA is in zealous mode, today. They played '20 questions' about my medical device. Displeased.

I learned that they're rolling out a requirement to pull food out of carry-on luggage. According to the person examining my granola bars, food often has an appearance on X-ray that's very similar to certain hazardous materials. Insufficiently familiar with airport X-ray machines to tell whether that's bullshit.

@Jssra@cybre.space yeah, I first encountered that last Septemberish--not on the way out, but on the way home, so I was completely unprepared for the "REMOVE ALL FOOD ITEMS AND PUT THEM IN A SEPARATE BIN" bullshit. for someone who has a gluten allergy, *needs* protein every couple of hours, and is going on a ten-hour flight... there were a lot of food items. :|
