Just got back from a (really good!) Yule feast at a local medieval living history museum place.
I had no desire or ability to dress in period garb, so I went with "weird witchy person who lives on the edge of the village and will probably curse you if you're not careful"
Not as visible as I'd like: The reindeer-pelt cloak I made right before our Yule ritual, and the hair leather-wrapping and spiral that I like so much I may wear them more often! https://awoo.space/media/wDrK0QRnjW2odMEbsos https://awoo.space/media/cMaIRPd3uhnVJXDk3dA
@indi (because you're basically already that)
@indi OOH, just noticed - what's the tiny blue bag on your hip btw?
@CoronaCoreanici That's my spiritwork bag. Contains two sets of divination tools (ogham and runes), some basic ritual supplies (herbs, salt, candle) and some stones.
it's actually part of my daily carry but it's usually in another bag which is itself usually in another bag.
@indi Oh neat!
@indi Gee, I'm sure I never saw a photo of you before. Very nice, except I seem to perceive a strange resemblance to Professor Snape. O know that's absurd, but my brain insists.
@indi I had to get a second opinion. No context, just showed the picture to husband. Without any hint, he said, "Snape's brother." Obviously, the non-evil one. 😁
@indi you have given me inspirations on how i can dress next time i go there >^.^<
@indi you carry it off pretty well, but I'm not that surprised :P
