The good part about dog doors is that, every now and then throughout the day, dogs just sorta noclip into your house.

Met up with Colton at MFF, but he was on the 22nd floor of the atrium, so we were discussing how to actually get up there so I could meet his dog, which he'd brought to the con. I had broken my foot, so I was stuck on crutches trying to figure out how to get up 22 flights of stairs because the elevators are glass. (I may be even more acrophobic in my dreams than in person :P) The dog turned invisible whenever it left his house, so I wouldn't be able to see it, just pet it.

(I love Jenny, we're working on getting an anthology of her poetry published, and hot damn, she's good)

This was legit super hard, and also left me feeling alienated from most everyone, even dogcrush, who knew about it beforehand. Fun for a little bit, interesting for a little bit longer, and then kinda tiring.

Did the Halloween costume on taps - going as my player - and holy shit is it hard not to, like...'purr' and 'swish' and all that. Being a human is all itchy and feels weird :P

Caffeine - or at least espresso - has been steadily making me feel worse over the last month or so. Bit grumpy...I like my coffee.

I tend to act like a housecat more than a wild cat, especially to help with getting all affectionate with folks (but also because it's kinda embarrassing, in a nice way, to debase myself like that, similar to getting a wiggle out of clipping my claws)

Tonight's oops-Maddy's-flirting-again episode has me wondering as to the mechanics of kissing with a muzzle. Some folks just kinda ignore the details and go with it, whereas some are rather focused on how strange it would be and go for, like...cheekrubs and licks and such. In this case, how would a cat kiss a human?

Answer: quite readily.
