Current status: panicking a hole in the fabric of spacetime. Scared shitless for a friend (and, frankly, of them, as well), freaking out about work, terrified I'm going to hurt people I love. Sigh. Laying down to bank spoons for tonight, as I think the ritual will be a positive thing.

Had a wee meltdown this morning thinking about upcoming work problems (migrating to new wayback, no idea how we're going to handle YouTube captures), which was helped out a bit by food. I think I need to start seriously working on regular breakfasts, much as I hate it -.-

Got to therapy super early to sort out insurance troubles only to find that, not only had they fixed it, but I have $120 in credit \o/

The good part about dog doors is that, every now and then throughout the day, dogs just sorta noclip into your house.

Met up with Colton at MFF, but he was on the 22nd floor of the atrium, so we were discussing how to actually get up there so I could meet his dog, which he'd brought to the con. I had broken my foot, so I was stuck on crutches trying to figure out how to get up 22 flights of stairs because the elevators are glass. (I may be even more acrophobic in my dreams than in person :P) The dog turned invisible whenever it left his house, so I wouldn't be able to see it, just pet it.

This was legit super hard, and also left me feeling alienated from most everyone, even dogcrush, who knew about it beforehand. Fun for a little bit, interesting for a little bit longer, and then kinda tiring.

Did the Halloween costume on taps - going as my player - and holy shit is it hard not to, like...'purr' and 'swish' and all that. Being a human is all itchy and feels weird :P
