@Draekos ... pls stop this >_>
@IrisKalmia @Draekos But why D:
@IrisKalmia @Draekos That's making a pretty big assumption about someone you know isn't by any means a puritan. o.=.o
Being frustrated 'cause you did a thing you didn't mean to do is a perfectly reasonable thing and doesn't have to mean anything more than that
@mawr Being frustrated because you used a real swear where you meant to swap in the puritanical replacement popularized in recent time by a incredibly capitalistic meme account seems at best weird from my vantage D:
@IrisKalmia So Kos isn't allowed to use memes born from capitalism that have historical roots in Christian conservatism, even though we live in a capitalist society who's majority population are Christian, a religion who's majority of practices are conservative?
How far down this rabbit hole do we need to go? I'm sure there are a tremendous number of things in our common speech with similar roots.
@mawr I made a light hearted jab at the *being upset* that the swear wasn't replaced. If we want to make a scene over this I gladly will, though.
@mawr I treated it about the same as I would her making an absolutely groan worthy pun, neither behavior she's even shown an intention of stopping on my account.
@mawr At this point I've put myself into even worse of a position that I really don't want to be defending over it.
@IrisKalmia If it really was just a joke, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
@mawr You asked for a deeper reason of why; I know she won't stop it on my account, as we've had the conversation before. Her response to me was also light hearted, this conversation is in response to your involvement.
@IrisKalmia I made an inquiry intending to continue a silly thread, you responded with a deeper reason, reveling that this was not "a silly jab."
You're welcome to blame this conversation on my lightheartedly asking a question if that makes you feel better about where it's gone.
@mawr You asked me why o..o
@mawr I figured that would be seeking a more reasoned answer than something offhanded, so I gave you a reason.
@IrisKalmia I feel like I stepped on a land mine by even asking, and I'm sorry I did.
@IrisKalmia I'm sorry, too; I wasn't being as charitable or compassionate as I strive to be, and I'm sure that wasn't helping. >..<
