I love playing +R, but gooosssh I can feel the small audience and years people have been playing this game in the inconsistent ranked matchmaking. I absolutely cannot wait for Strive to come out. It's practically guaranteed to have a large (starting) audience, the rollback will extend the amount of people I can consistently play with, and it'll be relatively new for everyone, smoothing out that matchmaking experience.

The best (relative) time to get into a new fighting game is within the first two weeks, and I want to make sure I get some gooooood time in.

Classic horror adventure game with a classic dopey-ass main character in a haunted house. Your appreciation of this game is a 1:1 correlation with your patience for Pipe Dream.

Wow, talk about an exciting concept and premise that just completely has no empathy or engaging ideas.

I wandered into a church (after an intro that included what I chalked up to an exaggeration of edgelord bs being emulated in the 'chat window') that was said to be made in worship of a mass killer, and when I chose the dialogue option of "That's disgusting" I was told I didn't have to play.

So I didn't.

It's welcoming to folks of any skill level, from "What's a fireball?" to "I am literally SonicFox" (Please note, SonicFox is not part of the community... YET). In fact I recently found and shared a great series of videos that go into what it means to have "good fundamentals" in a fighting game, and the steps to take in order to create a gameplan from which you can improve upon and learn from!

It's a pretty fun anime fighter. Just got to wait for rollback! For now: Parsec!

@Soreth More in response to a streamer talking about dealing with salt on ranked. He talks about how to reframe the actions of the opponent as learning, but doesn't seem to address that if you're losing, maybe the problem isn't that your opponent is making bad decisions, maybe it means that *you* are.

"I'm mad at my opponent for beating me with random things, which I have deemed 'poor play'"

So... You're mad that you got mixed up or didn't otherwise account for a particular situation in your gameplan? How is that a failing of your opponent?
