Played my first "real game" of KOF (2k2). A couple of notes:

- Rolling makes Oki in KOF waaaay different than any game I'm used to.

- I hate Whip

- I like Vanessa

I've been pressing some King of Fighters buttons, trying to get a feel for it, and gosh, it's really growing on me. I love that it's doing its own thing, apart from Street Fighter, or anime games.

Had an "epiphany" while drafting in Arena today: When you have your initial 23, focus on reducing your deck's "shanten".

Translation: if the pile does not contain a card that strengthens your deck's current strategy, then don't try and force it into your deck.
