listening to random twitch streamers and crossing all of my fingers that they don't turn out to be shit human beings

i can't complain too much, i haven't really had that hard of an ant time since i moved into a 2nd floor apartment. i definitely don't miss getting ants in my kitchen for 4 months out of the year. now i just get random surges of scouts in my bathroom and sometimes the bedrooms.

could do without ants as a thing in general

i pretty much refuse to even step foot into a hobby lobby on principle. which sucks because michael's is a hot tub o' garbage with no selection and joann's are few and far between out here.

as a completionist i need to finish all these little baby x-stitch kits i got before i can deck myself out with all the riolis patterns/kits i can get my grubby little hands on at once off amazon

'spiritual successor to the petz series' is basically what i'd make if i had any sort of game dev knowledge tbh

also blessed are those that saw value in making the effort to hold on to old files for, in some cases, 2 decades.

there's a weird sense of internet archaeology in scrounging for .zip files on archive.org'd geocities pages that have last updated notes of 1999.

it's also a game where created content is a major driving force, and the game died for the most part in like 2004, leading to that content being in much lesser quantities than it was before

speaking of old games-ish catch my ass playing Petz 4 again in the year of our lord 2k17... there -is- actually a community for it scattered across a whopping like, 4 websites.

then i pick it back up and decide that i should just start over and the cycle begins anew.
