Science march today. I hope folks are going out to marches in their areas. I'm headed to the London march soon

@Firstaide Imma sorta blame @sarahjeong for this. :) She wrote a really great piece about mastodon, and listed awoo.space as an example of another instance. I somehow didn't realise it was meant to be special. I mean: i'm not hear to be mean to anyone, but I wasn't looking for an especially safe space, either. I won't find it hard to get along here, but don't want to crash any private parties, either.

I just became the 10th MVP patreon pledger for Gargron. I really hope mastodon takes off.

@aweiss ah. It's on the compose screen but not on the timeline screen. Weird. I think of one of them as "reading" (where searching belongs) and one of them as "writing" where searching doesn't make sense. Thanks!

@aweiss funny I am not seeing it on safari on iOS. Literally my second post. So, yeah. Growing pains.

Is it me, or am I missing how to search for people here?

There you go. Proof that I'm one of the cool kids. Or at least one of the ones fed up enough to try something other than the trash fire at the bird thing. I tried app.net too. Missed diaspora. Let's hope this takes off.

Awoo Space

Awoo.space is a Mastodon instance where members can rely on a team of moderators to help resolve conflict, and limits federation with other instances using a specific access list to minimize abuse.
