@dragon like if someone is already here i can care for them with a clear conscience. but if i raised a child from birth all i would think of is how i'm unfairly bringing them into something that's going to go up in flames in a few decades

@dragon like i can't morally justify having my own kids even though the idea of carrying & nursing an infant feels very good to me. because i dont see us being a thing in a few generations and like i cant raise my own child with that attitude

@dragon i plan on adopting if i ever get to the point where i feel like i can handle it because i want to provide a child with a stable & loving base

@dragon hey i was just thinking about this. uh. i dont really have anything optimistic to say. i think youre right. things are devolving into a hellish cyberpunk dystopia & we are dying very slowly. aasghhh my generational nihilism
