@Skirmisher Not really a whole lot of elbow grease on my end to be honest. X3 Just posted a "hey reply if you want to do this" and learned about whenisgood from hexafriend; I've successfully managed to dodge arranging anyone's long-distance travel or accomadations that I didn't have volunteered for me.
Seriously, though, I think at some point we need to get the both of us in a room to geek out about games and Distance together. Maybe you should see if you can pull together something in Redmond?

@Skirmisher Sorry. :/ Of 19 responders our most agreed-upon dates only got 12 votes, so someone was getting left out no matter what. However! There will be another! Assuming all goes well, in a few months when more of us will be let in the front door, we still need to take a trip down to the Jupiter.

@cryptosphinx@cybre.space Yeah. I was kind of conflicted because Jupiter was the original inspiration for the meetup, but it would be the dickest of moves to leave Chr out. Partially that was my reason for delaying so long, but impatience outmatched time. I say we throw them a birthday party in like two months when that happens, though I don't know what plans they've already got.
I didn't realize that the day-choices I made would be the only available options. :grin_w_sweat: Ah well. I definitely won't miss it!
@kara@occult.camp I'd like to give the whenisgood an additional day or two for people to see it, but it's looking likely that it will be a friday night in december.
Change of plans! We're definitely meeting at the Raygun Lounge! It's cheaper, for one thing, and they have big long tables where we can sit and hang out and play games, *and* it's all ages, but they still serve drinks, so the boozey and not boozey can live in harmony! (If anyone objects to this please say so, but I think it's the better option). In a few days I'll make a reservation based on the WIG.

@kara@occult.camp Uh oh. Gameworks was chosen arbitrarily because it's "the arcade I know about". I wouldn't be super surprised to learn there was something shifty about it. Regardless: is there a better (<21 allowed) place to go, perhaps?
