I find myself not very excited to share things lately, but need to get over the Twitter-depression hump and get back in there. Here's a butt orange from my backyard.

We need more people that have a basic know how and some spare resources(money/time) to open up their own servers. Be it a dozen friends, a few tens or hundreds of people on a hangout, or a dedicated team managing a few thousand (<10k) folks on. We need people to decide to stop going for outrage and divisive reactionary public figures, and instead opt for supporting each other.
Hmm... I wonder if anyone would go for a service where I setup an entire social platform for them, like FA, Mastodon, etc, upload all their old art, tag it correctly, and then just turn it back over to them once it's done.

There seems to be a lot of misconceptions about how to set up Mastodon.
1. You do not have to sacrifice a duck. Any waterfowl will do.
2. The bit about dancing around naked in a forest glade? While dancing is fun, you may just walk.
3. When the demon appears, you needn’t chant in Latin. It is fluent in all languages.
