@sc i don't mind symbolic emoji, but the faces fuck with my brain in a lot of really bad ways

@sc basically i don't have a problem with the ones that aren't faces, but the way my brain works makes the face ones an absolutely hellish level of confusing

@sc it's... difficult to explain, but it has to do with processing of faces, something that i already have a lot of difficulty with due to brain wiring things
@sc doesn't help that the platform differences between how emoji are rendered introduces even more ambiguity than there would be otherwise
