to anyone out there who's at least somewhat competent at ruby: do you think it's possible for you make a mutant standard plugin for jekyll that auto-converts emoji code in markdown to 64px mutstd svgs when rendered in html?
heck, mutant standard doesn't even have to be an emoji font. just make it a web icon font like font awesome or something. i would use it in a heartbeat
