gross skin stuff, tattoo progress +

the skin where my new tattoo is, is flaking a lot, or well, i guess it's scabbing and then flaking very quickly

day six of having a tattoo!! and taking care of it! people who see it are saying it looks really good and that it seems like i'm taking care of it so go me!

i really feel like i've made a very good decision here, i love my tattoo and i'm glad that the tattoo artist did a v good job

re: tattoo progress +

i'm kind of surprised that it... feels so natural? i thought it'd feel off, but it really doesn't. it feels like a part of me.

a moth, on a pink flower, atop a curly stem with lots of leaves.

people keep being surprised that i chose to get such a big tattoo for my first tattoo (it's all over my shoulder and upper arm!!), but to me it feels perfect

re: tattoo -> thinking about future top surgery

top surgery probably won't feel like this at all.

i've done an ungodly amount of research on top surgery, so i kind of know what to expect, but it won't be that at all. not until i'm in the moment. not until i actually experience it.

just like how i looked forward to all of those other things that i hadn't experienced yet in the past

the act of experiencing life is so beautiful.
