Digital ocean apparently reduced its prices a while back and I missed it. This means running a US-East Matrix homeserver could be more economical than I would have otherwise thought.

A 1gb droplet for the web service, and one for the postgres, should be more than enough for most use cases (barring database backups).

Anyone interested?

This server would be publicly usable and themed around game reverse engineering and development, but moreso that there are actually no public US-based matrix servers to my knowledge. matrix.org is perpetually overloaded and it is so obnoxious to use from the states.
