so here's my thinking lately. I learned about the linux development process recently and realized that the common GitHub-esque git workflow is actually not really distributed vcs as it was originally designed.
so how do we do pre-GitHub distributed vcs on smaller projects? is it even useful to do so?
Mild politic, software dev, github
And I wonder,
Is the homogenization of workflows in software development actually useful for _people_ or is it a direct consequence of a platform being built in service of capitalism rather than people?
I would much like to see alternatives to the weird PR-oriented nonsense that GitHub has popularized because I am just oh-so tired of it.
