apple wants to charge me $130 to service the battery in this macbook air. I can't imagine what they will charge to fix the dead pixels in the screen.

I think it's finally time to replace...

I bought this macbook in 2014, which would give it roughly a 4 year run before I had a real issue (the dead pixels). It was on student discount, so roughly $200 per year of service.

I kind of wish it would have lasted longer? It's the best laptop I have ever used, hands down, but 4 years is kind of short.
