okay. so I'm back into gamedev and this time I'm gonna build a 2d framework in rust, with a smallish abstraction layer initially on top of sdl2 and gl for portability.

the intent, of course, to make something that replaces when I would otherwise use Love2D, but with a much smaller API surface handing most control to the layer above it.

graphics hal would basically allow image uploads and a very small pipeline and draw call api purpose-built for 2D graphics, where the caller would pass all the necessary information for a scene at once, letting the implementation optimize as necessary.
