So apparently 2 days ago about 1,200 clients in China started scraping my personal Gitea instance. My monitoring caught it and I firewalled the netblocks responsible.

Now tonight there's about 900 clients in the UK doing it.

WTF wants the contents of my git instance so badly?

@trysdyn there's a search engine in China that indexes rather indiscriminately for some reason. I just opted to block all traffic from China on my personal Gitea until there is ever a reason to need to be more granular.
