It's been almost 5 years since I first started working in Rust.

I can't believe it's been that long. Where did time go? It feels like it's been ages since mio was first conceived. async/await was just informal discussion. I was just starting to target the Nintendo 3DS for homebrew with it.

All I can think about is how over the years of reading and writing Rust, I've learned more and more to relentlessly simplify things and stay practical. It's made me so much stronger as a programmer and software engineer.

Rust is the future of software.
