This is hilarious: Tokyo police raids the HQ of a communist group (中核派, "Japan Revolutionary Communist League, National Committee" but literally "Middle Core Faction").
Police attacks the main door shutters with buzz saws. A side door opens, to elderly men in masks appear and say "just use the door" (ultra-left in Japan are all old men).
Then they check the police's search warrant, and then, best of all, they take their temperature before letting them in.
black ops cold war is the worst call of duty multiplayer i have ever played in all the iterations since CoD4. this game is straight up ass because of the broken "skill"-based matchmaking lag.

This evening, as I was walking up to pick up a pizza, I passed a shopping cart full of blue styrofoam containers, one of which still had the label indicating it used to contain mushrooms from the nearby supermarket. They had otherwise been completely emptied.
Nearby, a bunch of teens were lying on their backs on a grassy patch next to the sidewalk, staring at the night sky, giggling madly over something I never overheard.
I chose not to ask; it wouldn't be any more amusing with context.
