@Kat@snouts.online @monorail @InspectorCaracal it's well known that the compositions that did appear in the final version of Sonic Chronicled were hastily ported MIDIs from vgmusic.com
@Kat@snouts.online @monorail @InspectorCaracal I'm pretty sure the story on this is they had a soundtrack, but were unable to come to an agreement with the composer over the use of the compositions, and had to scramble at the last minute. Since music tends to be licensed from the creator in the games industry, rather than sole ownership being transferred to the publisher. Similar thing happened with PS4/XB1/EGS Super Meat Boy.
re: Kobe Bryant
@Elizafox as far as I'm reading on that, they settled it out of court and Kobe made a public statement along the lines of "I thought it was consenting, but after speaking to the person and her lawyer, I realize was wrong"
She patiently sat in front of a Sushi bar. 💔😭

Marxist stuff
I've always hated the concept of the lumpenproletariat. It seems pretty dismissive and, well, reactionary to me. Doesn't feel like it fits with the rest of the ideals of socialist thought.
"We are going to organize the working class to create a society that serves even the lowest. Except for these people over here who are lost causes."
Also, like, I feel pretty close to the various groups of people who are lumped in with the lumpen. Homeless people, sex workers, the unemployed, criminals... Shit, I feel like these are people who understand life better than a lot of people who've read theory.
Anyway I hate the term and I don't find it necessary. All these folks are the working class. Assuming they can't learn or wouldn't be interested in a better world... Shouldn't a socialist know better than to engage in such rank snobbery?
