Yeah I prefer dealing with Maven XML to Gradle groovy. Wow.
crazy idea: generate kotlin serde code based on the annotated data classes. generate it for netty and for kio so it can be used from javascript 
ALL messages in rotmg serialized and deserialized in kotlin. record pace 👀
