I love the part where I get hyperfocus on work that I actively enjoy and then I can suddenly hear every conversation on this floor of the office with superhuman clarity

i don't really like it here because people shit all over volunteer open source maintainers for not doing things that are impossible to enforce

IT DOESN’T NEED AMP. It’s entirely static, is as fast as or faster than AMP sites, and is served from a fast global CDN with aggressive caching.

I’m INCREDIBLY tired of Google abusing their position as the global search monopoly to push their tech on sites or fear being demoted.

I launched a new blog this week. It's stupidly fast, uses zero external JS or CSS resources, is responsive, and supports modern features many sites don’t like dark style support. But Google just emailed me saying they might deprioritize it on Google because it doesn’t use AMP.

"this sounds like Enterprise Java bullshit"

Listen, the shit I've seen? This is much easier to deal with

cool programming question

Anyone used HK2 in Java land before?

Is it fast enough to create a ServiceLocator per operation to inject some data as dependencies for a binding in the parent ServiceLocator, or is that a fool's errand

Everybody:

Here is this - i compiled this from a list that various #FediAdmins had been sharing.

It is as complete a list as I can compile of the confirmed, affiliated, and possible #Gab instances, includes notes, and everything you can do in Google Sheets, but it is not that. It is CryptPad Sheets.

You will need to login to Cryptpad to view, and later I can send edit links to trusted allies. I included a screen cap for those not wanting to login, even to a system as secure as Cryptpad.

Also: this is very much a first draft, and is very directly focused on Gab, and Gab organized instances. A start. See what you think. Open to improvements.

Another more secure link to allow for group edits to come.
