Everything has so many "helpful" popovers and modal windows happening at the same time interrupting you, opening up new browser tabs for different parts of the same UX, inconsistent UI designs, stuff that just takes up WAY too much screenspace, ...
All I can think about is how over the years of reading and writing Rust, I've learned more and more to relentlessly simplify things and stay practical. It's made me so much stronger as a programmer and software engineer.

So, there is a high probability I was exposed to the coronavirus a week ago. Zero clinics nearby are able to run tests on the person this doctor thinks has covid, so I can't and nor can anyone else know for sure.
There is a serious problem in requiring that you have been exposed to someone who is confirmed to have it. Even if tests were available, this policy means most people who should be tested can't be, especially 2 or 3 degrees separated.
By custom handling acks, you get a lot more freedom to multiplex with varying degrees of ordering and reliability. This frees up your protocol to do things more concurrently and redundantly to counteract network unreliability.
