can be a damn good thing. a lot of people get an ingrained idea of being "too selfish" for things that they absolutely have the right to be selfish about.
things like:
your pronouns
your access needs
your want for a safe space
your need for affection and love and to receive it as well as giving it
and plenty more

it's okay and good to be selfish about some stuff and to take care of yourself
