I have two utterly terrible Bandaza pie ideas but I only have one pie pan.

My life is so hard.

Spent the last few hours hanging out with new Queer/Trans People and they are all super cute but we are all awkward so we didn't really talk at all ahhhh so awkward ahhhh.

I am annoyed that new terrible and or stupid things keep happening so I end up ranting at my therapist about those instead of dealing with my actual deep seated problems like how I'm going to die alone while crying in the darkness.

This is actually somewhat hilarious because my strongest known biases are against people like Dude and it totally showed up when I was evaluating Dude during his interview. We hired him anyway because all the other candidates accepted better offers.

(This is actually not hilarious because Dude is one of the people I report to and this was during a meeting about how we can hire more people who aren't white.)

When I said that I do not make hiring decisions without input from my team because I know that I have internalized biases, and experience and research have shown that they come in despite our best efforts, Dude (cis white straight man) told me that I am just underselling myself.

He thinks that learning from my past mistakes and listening to others to overcome my own flaws are weaknesses and symptoms of impostor syndrome.

Worked out some work-related rage by singing in the darkness by the light of the moon, and then in my shower.

My voice is dead but I am not going to set anything on fire so it all works out.

Today I learned that the magic words for being escalated to the level of UPS support that can actually do something are "are you telling me that you have no idea where my three thousand dollar package is right now?".

Preferably delivered in polite restrained anger.
