You can turn each specific cockpit voice notification on/off in audio settings. I highly recommend disabling the FSD charging/countdown/engaged lines, plus anything else you find annoying.

Last night I headed out to the Pleiades (and back) to fetch the damned meta-alloys. That was a longass trip. Glad I did everything I could to max out jump range first, short of removing my shields completely.

Seeing contacts come up as "Non-human signal source / Threat Level: 5" zipping across systems where I stopped for fuel was surprisingly spooky.

When I walk away to use the bathroom or check the the internet or whatever while stopping to fuel scoop on a long run, I 100% consider that I am doing so in-character
