What is postfurry? At the very core, it's a way of approaching what identity means.
Furry has been all about answering the question "what if people can also be animals?"
Postfurry says "okay, we can go even further than that. What if we claim authorial control over every aspect of identity? We're animal-people sure, but that's only a starting point. The sign feels like it's showing the way Home. That's exactly what I wanted to accomplish.
Hot glue is a little bit cursed but it's absolutely perfect a for a lot of jobs :)

I've been wanting to take this photo for a long time, and I finally was there at late enough that I could get the shot.
I learned a bunch from this one (and didn't have the lens I wanted to use for it 'cause I broke it ;~;) and will try it again for a better result some time in the near future. I feel this was a good proof of concept, though. ^^
Hm, sign isn't nearly as bright as I'd hope.
Looked back, and after adding the second stroke on the star I'm definitely running beyond the length rating on the driver. Good news is, I can buy a bigger one that's also supposed to be quieter.
Right now it glows, but it doesn't shine.

Oh also right, this project literally came to me in a dream. Not exactly as implemented ofc, but the concept of an el wire rainbow in etched acrylic channels? Yeah!
