Glow Fox mask project

Going with a taped construction instead of a glued/tabbed construction plus not doing layers of decorative finish paper made this go MUCH faster than the first build.

Glow Fox mask project

Made a new blank to use as a mold.

Ended up going with 110% scaling factor which was probably a bit too much. The eye hole spacing is a bit weird. Still, probably the kind of thing that nobody but me will notice.

Glow Fox mask project

Hmm, apparently when I made V1 (paper) it was scaled at 96% due to A4/US-Letter discrepencies. I'm gonna print this one at 105% to give a little more room for electronics.

Status: fox rapidly bouncing up and down in place while yapping "art!" over and over.

Hey, assorted critters of the Mastodon Federation?

Please read people's bios before hitting follow.

For fuck's sake though, really, what is with people and not reading bios before following.

Someone just reported a user on m.s for posting "furry content".

Oh, honey. You MUST be new here.

hey why did the starfleet helmsman ram his ship into the klingon ship?

everyone is always nostalgic for floppies until they remember how much of their lives they spent rewinding the damn things with pencils

posthuman genital silliness

Yeah sure, that's a decent cock, but can even it glow in the dark?

GHB, seattle nightclubs

Holy shit, last week Foundation was raided and shut down. SPD claims that in a sting, staff were dealing GHB and instructing in how to use it to drug women.

Having been to one show there... yeah out of the clubs in Seattle I've visited, I'd have ranked Foundation as the one most likely for that to be going on, just based on general atmosphere.

the line "FUCK UP REAL BAD" from the Meatpunks trailer is the most relatable piece of ad copy I've ever seen.

I'm fuckin' queer and damn proud of that.

I'll never not be queer.

Finding a spot in the Olympic rainforest where there's absolutely no human-created noise. Worth getting out the headphones/earbuds for.

Mutant Standard Principle #3

We need to break past this by embracing uncertainty and radical personal choice at it's very foundations as much as we can. We should be striving for communicative tools and forms of expression that disrupt this state as much as possible.

Mutant Standard Principle #3

We currently seem to be living in a state of seemingly-endless incrementalism, where people have to affix themselves to norms, and ostracise and villify a particular state of experience or expression, until that moves a little and there are new norms and new dangerous deviants. In this context, every 'success' in this system isn't really a success - it implies there is something deeper within our society that is wrong.

Mutant Standard Principle #3

## Challenging normativity, embracing uncertainty

If we live in a society where people are valued based on what is considered 'normal' or what the prevailing trends are, then we can never have a truly civilised or decent society.
