and it intersects with the phenomenon of a lot of younger queer folk not being knowledgeable, and seemingly not very willing to learn, about queer history

@argr the real answer is that generally the chorus is the more earwormy and high energy part, and the verse kinda lays out the idea that the chorus says directly. at least thats how i usually think about it

but also sometimes just writing arbitrary lyrics is fun (see: One Week by the Barenaked Ladies)

i found a "telnetlib3" and the documentation isn't fantastic but it doesn't have to be for what im doing right this second

itll probably give me issues if i wanna do fancy extension stuff later but for simple text its fine

hey pythonistas, i want to make a telnet thing in python. but telnetlib is deprecated as of 3.11 and will be removed in 3.13. are there any alternatives or do i just have to hand-roll telnet support myself
