Socket loves to collect mushrooms, in particular the pretty spotty ones which are, how to say this... *spicy.*

I don't recommend you try her soups, unless you have the stomach of a kobold.

@tebicat@tech.lgbt hairy gay man who does long haul trucking

A friendly reminder, given the constant cycles of negativity that swirl and churn in the modern outrage cycle: Unclench your jaw.

couldn't be me

I'm currently seeking VC funding for an Instagram-like app for punks. The timeline looks like a local music venue bathroom stall and you can only post band stickers onto it that cover up the older posts.

I was gonna boost a web 1.0 nostalgia thread, but turned out to be just defeatist, and yknowha? no
web 1.0 never died
what has died is the will to make it grow
you can totally make a webring right now if you want
you can make a shitty table with thick borders and yellow backgroung
you can make whatever website you want even if it's bad and under construction and you never finish it, but leave some poetry in one of the links
what is stopping anyone from doing this? it's definitely not twitter, or a shift in technology
just fukn do it if you want, dare do it, there's literally nothing to lose

Right-wing, capitalist bollocks

The threat to capitalism from the four day week is that it links pay to productivity, and decouples it from the amount of time you spend in the workplace. Workers stop being an exploitable resource and start to get a share of the success of the business, and they really, really can't be having that.
