the problem with food is that it's an experience for all of the senses that goes beyond simply the taste and texture of the food. the feeling of a container in your hand or against your lips, the way something hits your nose or palate, all change how a dish or drink comes off to you
which is why when i make my microwave yakisoba i have to eat it with a plastic fork. it doesn't hit right otherwise
