@flowerpatch@queer.af well like. it's fine when you're doing something standard enough that you can use cross-platform stuff. but when you step out of line a little bit and access the windows api directly to do something nonstandard like make an alpha-blended window then shit gets gnarly fast
i'm doing preliminary research about this. it's amazing anyone gets anything done using the windows api
