since bandcamp's future is uncertain i'm bringing back blamscamp (by @suricrasia ). it lets you make an in-browser player for your album that you can put on itch.io! it's pretty easy and straightforward to use and works just fine. you can sell music on itch BTW

I may be preaching to the choir here, but I just posted this over on the Blue site. I think it's something important for indie creators, event coordinators, and other people looking to reach an audience to consider!

Like, it's unimaginable, the vast amount of forces set to prevent stockton rush from winding up dead at the bottom of the sea. Imagine if 1% of any of that manpower was put towards keeping you from disaster and how much it'd help you. Financial protections, people doing your job for you, advisors, rescue teams

Moonring, my FREE Ultima IV style retro RPG is out now on Steam. I hope you enjoy Caldera as much as I loved Britannia!

@argr time for itch.io to implement new features for selling music

Anyways, layoffs suck, and I hope everyone hit by it is able to find something new soon.

Epic or otherwise, if you're a programmer or an IT person looking for work right now, and are interested in working for a nice studio that takes employee well being very seriously, my studio is hiring disbelief.com/careers/

@gaffyishere i think i would also need to eat infinite raw potatoes for that

@tmulgrew definitely gonna keep an eye on this so i can add it to my game dev tools list once you've got it ready for general use :>

@tmulgrew ooooooo this looks super cool... it reminds me a bit of evaldraw, one of ken silverman's old projects - advsys.net/ken/download.htm

I've started working on a little tool for creating retro games.

It consists of a C-like language with automatic garbage collection, and a runtime with a 320x240 color indexed display.
Can be run from cmd line, or as a vscode extension, which also gives you symbolic debugging.

The whole thing is written in C++ and SDL2, so should (eventually) be able to export to a bunch of platforms including Web Assembly.

apparently it's got a 200kg/h throughput

unfortunately i don't have a 300m² shop with at least 4m clearance, or else i'd contact them for a price quote
