I know this is all I've been posting about, but a few people in my life have asked me, "Why isn't your new book on That Big Site?
There are a lot of reasons to avoid that site. But my choice to publish on Campfire was not a matter of me choosing AGAINST something but actively choosing FOR something. Even if That Site were not evil, I would have chosen Campfire because of the value I believe it brings readers and the freedom that it gives authors.
