I would like to be able to make recommendations to BIPOC who have been scared off by the (non)moderation of mastodon.social and some of the other bigger instances.

If you know of an instance where there are non-white people who are doing the moderation (and also that the moderation is good) please let me know.

mastodon getting mainstream coverage has been such an intense demonstration of that effect where you only realize that the news is completely, outrageously wrong about the most basic shit when it talks about something you're actually familiar with

This is hilarious… somebody just submitted two Get In The Car Loser speedrun to speedrun dot com, one "No DLC" and one "Any%" and somehow the run WITH DLC is over twenty minutes faster despite doing the DLC chapter. Christine intuited they must use DLC-chapter items to construct a broken build, so she skipped forward to when they buy the DLC items and now is just screeching "they're equipping WHAT?!" at almost everything they equip
