to be clear, repetition of musical things in general is not bad. my grievance is with people who think mumford and sons is the freshest new sound in music singing the chorus ten times in a row because they can't envision music that doesn't center around their voice
i have long held that pop music repeats itself too often and i think ive realized why: it's because they're afraid of the solo. replaceable white men who sing would rather repeat the chorus eight thousand times than let the guitar do something awesome

One of the 22 or so remaining lesbian bars in the US burnt down recently, here in my adoptive hometown Tulsa, Oklahoma.
They were a super LGBT+ friendly space. Many of my trans lesbian friends loved that place. It would be devastating for the many patrons of the bar. I think something of cultural value would go away if it disappeared.
If you can spare a few bucks, give them some help to rebuild?

I just had to eat the lion's share of a $300 compressor belt replacement for my car so I still have my ability to escape this abusive situation I live in. I hate having to up the urgency of this, but some stuff in my personal life has shifted my need up.
