Writers are taught not to write wish-fulfillment—it's too easy, boring, or low stakes. But that reasoning is wrong. It only seems that way because we've all already read thousands of wish-fulfillment stories about cis het able-bodied white males, so they're very... predictable.

For every other demographic?

Readers actively, desperately crave wish-fulfillment stories about themselves, because they rarely if ever see them.

With a heavy heart, I must announce my departure from tech. After much contemplation and soul-searching, I have come to realize that my true calling lies elsewhere - the shadowy, eldritch realm of Lovecraftian horror.

For too long, I have been confined to the mundane realities of coding and debugging, but the allure of ancient deities and forbidden knowledge has beckoned me forth. I can no longer resist the Great Old Ones, and must set forth on a journey to explore the mysteries of the cosmos.

We have lots going on, and we're completely broke.
We have just gotten nine #transgender people out of danger. 4 of those by getting them asylum in the Netherlands.
We are absolutely desperate for funds, folks. We're currently funding operations from our personal rent money.
