admittedly "money is actually just X" never works because money and currency are actually a lot of things simultaneously
but,
i think its mayube an interesting perspective to start with saying that currency is actually a measure of power, and then currency as a medium of exchange for necessary goods (food etc) actually follows secondarily, as a way to enforce and justify that power

Finished watching the blu-ray copy I grabbed of Sherlock Hound. I’d never watched it before so I took a gamble on it but wow was it good! Highly recommend the Japanese version! Holmes and Watson were really cute so naturally I had to draw them. Check in next week for some Moriarty.
Two versions because I’ve been playing with tones again and it’s fun to try out multiple styles on my public pieces.

(if anyone has advice for any part of that, please do hit me up; i'm decently familiar with linux in general but i've never used X or set up network file sharing on linux)
tomorrow's task will be to put new drives in my now-previous pc and install linux on it, set it up for fileserver usage, and look into how best to access it from my current pc so i don't have to have a monitor and kb+m plugged in at all times. plain ole ssh/sftp is always an option of course but i'm thinking of trying out X forwarding, since i've never used it before and it seems cool and useful
new pc runs everspace 2 at max settings with only small hiccups. my old one could only really play it at low settings and even then the frames weren't consistent! oh man
