I helped a woman connect her ipad to a wifi thing this week and she looked at me like I was a wizard. I literally told her I was guessing and she knew more about it than I did. She even had to tell me which icon was for the settings, because I'd never even seen one up close before.

You have the power, people. You just need the confidence. The most powerful man in the world is the stupidest, most ignorant person alive. You are better than that. You can do much more. Just do it.

Thinkin' about animal vs human territoriality. Like, we're told there's this animal instinct we have to be jealous of our territory and covetous of others, but our experience is completely incomparable to most territorial animals, who mark territory with scent. A dog is aware of the patchwork of territories around it in a way that humans have to be constantly trained to look out for.
Could it be, that naturally humans are more prone to view things as commonly-held, and we're all being tricked?
