Hey, I have suffered debilitating side effects from anti-depressants for the last 3 months. I seem to be finally out the other end, but during this whole time, I have been barely able to work, so I've had a bunch of commissions pile up and not much in the way of being able to stay afloat.

Thanks to everyone's donations through this, I am currently still able to eat and stuff, but right now, I am behind on this month's bills by £250. Any help would be greatly appreciated, hopefully things won't be like this again next month.

I feel really bad about having to do this yet again, but I'm really short on rent and other upcoming bills. I'm finally adjusted to my meds, but they were kind of expensive and that adjustment took a long time, so I got really behind on work... That shouldn't be a problem anymore. I feel like I'm finally healing from a lifetime of untreated ADHD but I really need this one last push and I know I can start getting myself together.

i don't mind discoverability algorithms on sites like youtube or tiktok where people specifically go to consume or push content

but they are not very good for forming healthy and cohesive connections with other people, which i feel like microblogging should really be centered around

if you believe otherwise well, there are definitely sites out there for you. but fedi does not need any disco algos and it's not a failing for them to not exist here
