yesterday i learned about lesbian chess. it's just like regular chess, except for two critical differences:
1. the king is replaced by a second queen
2. instead of checkmating the king, the win condition is *capturing every last one of your opponent's pieces*
so it's both a far more aggressive game and one with a totally different set of strategic considerations for e.g. when to make a sacrifice or hold a strong piece back
