work habits/mental health (-)

You know I can never really see if I did a lot of work in a day or not.

Like today, I sat at my PC for ~8-9h, but I feel like I did nothing of worth or made very little progress, even though I coded more or less all of that time.

At least I got most stuff sorted out.

All I need to do now is:
Find a good format for toots/tweets to post the art in and figure out how CW work for bots.

@maxinered I think it's a common problem to feel that way and a lot of it comes from lacking a substantial item to look at in the end and say "I did this". Code is very insubstantial and hard to really gauge how much work you put in because of that, but moo does well and moo does a lot, more than pupper.

@ulvra I think another part of the problem, is that I set certain goals to reach, but don't reach them. Thus I haven't done enough, even though the goal was actually a several-days-worth-of-work goal anyway

Also pupper does a lot and moo is proud of her! :purple_sparkling_heart:

@maxinered 💖

On that note, one thing I used in the past to help me is make myself a checklist, then cross off the stuff I do when I do them, I use / for "started" and X for "finished", that way you can see your progress right there and if the problem is tasks nominated for multiple days then you can format the list to support that like with multiple cross-off fields.
