I hope people realize that toxic callout culture, especially the stuff we see on birdsite, can be so easily exploited and is bad?
Callouts are good, callouts are needed to make people aware of bad stuff, but they have limited use and should only used to remove power from abusers.
But it can also easily be hijacked and we see that on birdsite right now.
In the sense of constant side picking, fighting, in-fighting, etc.

@maxinered Another issue is that they're addictive. It's too easy to fall into the mindset that you're always right, yet never realise that you're doing it yourself. You start jumping on people due to personal outrage rather than think critically first and then if you are challenged, rather than pause and make sure you're right you automatically double down.
