(~) Artists guilt / Lewd desires
We do not like chasers & what makes a chaser is when attraction turns to objectification. I would not objectify anyone or any type of person, all I'd want to do is visualise a desire, but in doing that others might read different & be hurt...?
I think part of the problem is longing for companionship, thus trying to give life to a dream through art. Part of it is sexual, I will not deny that, but it's much more than that too, however that might be all others see.
(~) Artists guilt / Lewd desires
You might think this about that feeling that you aren't drawing enough & while I certainly feel that way it's however not what's on my mind.
Call me thirsty, but sometimes I just want to give in to my own desires & draw stuff. Things like a certain type of intersex character that I adore... but then comes the guilt: Am I objectifying? Am I doing bad? Thus I don't do it... I was wondering, do other artists feel similar, having guilt keeping you from drawing?
@maxinered Pupper tries ❤️ it feels good to help someone in need and to be nice to others.
Was on the way home & as I was getting off an obviously confused lady with a big suitcase was getting off too, so I tried to help. Took a little to figure out from the confused directions she was given to figure out where she was going, but managed to figure it out & then walked her to her destination.
It wasn't a big detour for my sake, so I figured it'd be better to make sure to see her safely to her hotel before heading home myself. She showed me a picture of her parents too, sweet couple. ❤️

I hope it helps. ❤

I think it may be better with less explicit and fewer, but generalised and still telling words, like violence, stretching, genitals, etc..
(~) Annoyances & nipple nonsense
You know what annoys me...? Nipple hypocrisy...
I understand full well that it's because the US is backarsewards, but the whole notion that male nipples are all fine & dandy, even when overexaggerated, but nipples on a female character & suddenly it's mature to adult...? It's sexist & it's hypocritical.
It's fine to say "no nipples", but in that case it goes both ways, for any gender or sex.
Fun fact: In Denmark it's legal to sunbathe topless on *any* beach.
@maxinered Prophetic moo though, because that alone is enough reason for moo's initial uncertainty of whether to make a personal gem. ❤️
Just a thing I want to say here, out of two reasons:
a) to help people boost themselves
b) to help people not falling for lies
In Mastodon you can't word search! The only thing that is search able in Toots are hash tags. This means:
If you want to be seen in a search, then use them! #MastodonHelp will put you into searches!
Also nobody can name search themselves, like on . You literally just can't do that here and everyone who claims the opposite lies to you.

Also giving up is not bad.
If you can't do something, that's also good. Not everyone has to be good at everything.
You can do something good, maybe not better than everybody else, but your skill is still needed.
You are unique. You have unique skills and what you make is great.
If someone else is better at something, that doesn't matter either.
You are important, you are loved, you are valid. You are unique and we need you!

Something I have to learn myself, but here it goes:
Don't try to do something huge or perfect.
Try your best. What you make is your best and try to be proud of it!
You drew a stick figure with 20, because you never drew before? It's great, because it is your best!
Everything you create, that has the potential to make people happy (and doesn't hurt anyone) is great and you are great for creating it.
Even if it feels you should do more. You did your best and you're great for that.

@maxinered Moo too! 💖

On that note, one thing I used in the past to help me is make myself a checklist, then cross off the stuff I do when I do them, I use / for "started" and X for "finished", that way you can see your progress right there and if the problem is tasks nominated for multiple days then you can format the list to support that like with multiple cross-off fields.
work habits/mental health (-)
@maxinered I think it's a common problem to feel that way and a lot of it comes from lacking a substantial item to look at in the end and say "I did this". Code is very insubstantial and hard to really gauge how much work you put in because of that, but moo does well and moo does a lot, more than pupper.
@maxinered I just want moo happy and safe, everything else we'll figure out. ❤️
