Ponderings... "up" as in the spoken phrase, does this always refer to the direction parallel but opposite to the direction of gravity, or does it rather refer to the direction perpendicular to the surface on which you find yourself positioned in the direction of the side on which you find yourself, e.g. would "up" sometimes be what is "down" for others if your frame of reference is inversed, and if not, then what is direction in a space void of gravity...?

Taking a quick break for a cookie and a cup of pupper poison, then back to drawing.

Sitting at the moment and thinking about the irony that I'm drawing something completely SFW, with average proportions and yet I'm still going to have to hide it behind a content warning when I eventually publish it. ^-^;;

I often feel like I'm a relic of the past... I don't do memes, in fact they often give me a headache trying to wrap my head around, I'm not random, I don't get overexcited.

On the downside, I feel like I don't fit into the world as it is today and it makes me a little scared to interact with others, but on the upside, it feels like being the overbearing mum who might not understand all of what her kids are talking about, but who still tries and who still loves them, and that helps a little. ❤️

Been on Mastodon for a few weeks, still not used to the whole different timelines deal, but I love the feature, it's good for both seeing new stuff and sending out occasional good vibes to others whom you might not know well enough to see on your personal timeline.

I need to get used to check the other timelines more, but slowly getting there. ❤️

@maxinered@queer.party has good ideas ❤ she suggested an addition to my sketch and I liked it, so I added it and it instantly made it much better. ❤

Slight technical issues getting started on things today, but got a bit of drawing done none the less. Just a rough sketch for now, don't think I do lineart now because it's going to take forever, so better to start fresh.

I always underestimate how much work certain things will be, like trying to sketch out a wheelchair. ^-^;;

I often envy asexual people ^-^;; there's a lot of my life that'd be easier as such... and I am by no means trying to say that ace people have it easy, because that'd be nonsense.

We do not like chasers & what makes a chaser is when attraction turns to objectification. I would not objectify anyone or any type of person, all I'd want to do is visualise a desire, but in doing that others might read different & be hurt...?

I think part of the problem is longing for companionship, thus trying to give life to a dream through art. Part of it is sexual, I will not deny that, but it's much more than that too, however that might be all others see.

You might think this about that feeling that you aren't drawing enough & while I certainly feel that way it's however not what's on my mind.

Call me thirsty, but sometimes I just want to give in to my own desires & draw stuff. Things like a certain type of intersex character that I adore... but then comes the guilt: Am I objectifying? Am I doing bad? Thus I don't do it... I was wondering, do other artists feel similar, having guilt keeping you from drawing?

Was on the way home & as I was getting off an obviously confused lady with a big suitcase was getting off too, so I tried to help. Took a little to figure out from the confused directions she was given to figure out where she was going, but managed to figure it out & then walked her to her destination.

It wasn't a big detour for my sake, so I figured it'd be better to make sure to see her safely to her hotel before heading home myself. She showed me a picture of her parents too, sweet couple. ❤️
