Half the folks that interviewed me had some rad dye jobs.

Oh no.. I am important enough to have to write a bio blurb and have a photo placed on the web page for the my new employer and I haven't had a proper hair cut in 2 years D:

It has good side quests and combat loop is good (I played a lot of the multiplayer with Aurora when it came out) but the main story is such a drag.

So... I have a month to find a new job. :( And until monday to figure out how I'm going to exit. Director gave me 2 options, one is I agree to be terminated on the 15th which means I collect two more pay checks and still get unemployment... but if something internal to the company opens up I can't take it.

The other is I resign on the 15th, no unemployment but if something comes up internally they move me to it. Blah.. got homework to do this weekend for [redacted]... technical interview for [redacted] on monday.. another technical for a company I really don't want to work for later today.

Just finished another interview.. bleh awkward space of "Everyone wants Senior or Staff SRE and I've only been doing this for 2 years."

Weee brain fried.. two 30 minute interviews both ran over and hours and one of the more interesting prospects is calling back for another 20-30 minutes after dealing with another meeting.

Dude.. if you are going to Hack up the Doc I put together at -your- request yesterday because parts of it are copy pasted from other docs that I helped write.. maybe you should fucking find the originals and figure out what is new and what is not.

Since the copy-pasted bits were prefix to give context to the -new- guide I wrote which you deleted for some reason.

I guess it is time to brush up my resume. Always great to spend last couple of weeks meeting with team leads and discussing the possibility of moving on to one of their teams then have your director tell you the COO changed the requirements of the req he'd hoped to fit you into..
And follow it "there are some openings in engineering, we could work something out as a temp parking spot for you until an ops req opens."

Fuck dude, you know I'm not a software engineer and looking at the openings, I am like 100% they are on the team responsible for the disaster product I support as an SRE
